Biography of Orazio V. Enea of Monterey California

Orazio V. Enea, is a well known fisherman, doing business at 308 Main street, Monterey. He was born in Italy, November 12, 1877, the son of Vicenzo and Mary (Cardenilli) Enea. The father came to the United States but after expending five years in California returned to Italy. Both parents died in 1915.

Orazio V. Enea attended the public schools of Italy, and when about twenty-one years of age, first locating in Pittsburg, California. He engaged in fishing in the Sacramento river and later in the Columbia river and in Alaskan waters. Since 1905 he has engaged in fishing at Monterey and ever since has been doing well. He is a republican in national political affairs.

Mr. Enea married Miss Dominica Ruchillo, a native of Italy; and their union has been blessed with the following children : Vincenzo, Mary, Salvatore, Catherina, Peter, Orazio and Rose. All in all, Mr. and Mrs. Enea may well be congratulated upon their family.
